Maybe I should dress up as a robot every day. There’s a strong argument to be made that our species, well, could be doing better. If people asked me what I was doing, I’ll go into a monologue on how we’re all just wet robots anyway. Freewill is an illusion. Most of our decisions are made by magical elves in the back of our heads and the only thing consciousness does is say, “Here’s the best guess why I do this crazy shit.”
