Fake stories are in the news. I’m going to be writing a longer blog post about them in a day or two. Right now, let’s talk about the Gingerbread House Principal. In short, if something looks too good to be true, there’s probably a witch inside ready to gobble up your innards.

Jokes, magic tricks, and propaganda work on what people want. The greater the want, the greater the chance to be fooled.

Be aware of the things you want. The things that compel you. They can be used as instruments of deception.
