Special Investigation – Evolution by NonStampCollector reminds me of that saying about Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers…
Wait, let me explain who Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers were. They were an epic dancing duo who became famous in the 1930s. The saying went that Ginger Rogers could dance as well as Fred Astaire AND do it in heels (and backward since Astaire was leading).
Such is the way of this interchange between scientist and religious nut in this animated video. In this case, the poor scientist is supposed to know everything about, well, facts as well as know the alternative facts otherwise known as religion.

I may be biased, but comedians who educate and inform face a similar issue. Take Adam Conover of Adam Ruins Everything (on TruTV). The guy runs a show about skepticism. Not only does he need to be able to get all the facts straight, but he has to do it while getting a laugh a few times a minute. John Oliver, Trevor Noah, and Jim Jefferies face the same conundrum of entertaining and educating at the same time.
Of course, having a writing staff helps. A lot, I imagine.
I don’t have a writing staff. Ok, me. That’s my writing staff and that guy tends to get distracted by Captain Morgan. So when you hear me hilariously explain the Maginot Line to co-host Jack during an episode of the Naked Diner podcast, rest assured that is my staff hard at work.
