Atlanta, Georgia – The Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) medical team treating the United States of America are hoping the midterm elections kill the Trump virus that is killing their patient.
Friends and family of the USA celebrated the recent election of Democratic politician Connor Lamb in Pennsylvania’s 18th district. The Trump virus won the district by 20 points in 2016. Connor’s victory may be a sign the body politic’s natural defenses are killing the Trump infection.
The USA is far from being out of the woods. Cries of Make America Great Again! ring out through many neighborhoods. FOX News is still pumping medical waste into the veins of the country. Evangelicals are by and large supporting the malignant Trump tumor.
However, the country is doing better than others infected. “We’re lucky the USA has democratic institutions,” stated CDC Medical Director *Dr. Richard Laub. “Turkey is dying from the authoritarian strain known as President Erdogan.”
White House spokesperson Andrew Canard is quick to point out that the Republican Party is only a secondary infection. President Trump is the primary threat to America. “Trump can cripple and kill the country all on his own, thank you very much,” Mr. Canard quipped while wearing a MAGA cap.
Regardless of White House bravado, doctors are saying if the GOP infection is managed, then it’s only a matter of time before the political infection know as Trumpism dies.”You get Democratic majorities in the House and the Senate, and we’re doing the impeachment surgery,” Dr. Richard Laub mused. “That should remove the infection and the Trump tumor.”
