When I think about, stand-up comedians have it a bit easier than artists who are doing webcomics. When you’re on stage you can really get a feel for the crowd and alter your act in accordance. People who are creating webcomics don’t have that luxury.
Of course, they also don’t face the possibility of an audience member getting violent with you either.
