Reading Time: 2 minutes
Pat Robertson is looking more and more like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars.

Right Wing Watch wants you to know that Pat Robertson is still, well, Pat Robertson.

Here’s a slice of the story Pat Robertson Prophesies That Trump Will Win Reelection, Then the End Times Will Begin

Televangelist Pat Robertson reported on “The 700 Club” today that he had been told by God that President Donald Trump will be reelected … and his reelection will bring about start of the End Times.

Robertson said that “without question, Trump is going to win the election,” but it will result in widespread civil unrest, during which there will be at least two attempts to assassinate the president.

Robertson wants you to reassure you that it will all be OK in the end. Of course, that will be after a lot of suffering after Islamic countries attack Israel and a giant meteor brings about the Tribulation.

But hey, didn’t St Augustine say, “You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet?”

Do you just want to get to the juicy, crazy parts?

Check out this tweet.

I like how he starts the video by citing his source, which is the LORD. Have no fear because Robertson’s source of information is divine so the followers of Christ can reassure themselves that the most unChristian man ever to hold the presidency will win a second term.

Is it me or do these preachers have a glint in their eye when they talk about disasters? Old man Robertson seems spry when he talks about war with the Russians, the Chinese, and domestic unrest.

When I took my Intro Psych class and learned about Freud’s concept of the death instinct I laughed. I mean, that’s just a silly idea. People can’t have a psychological drive to die, can they? Watching Robertson and thinking how we’re this far into the COVID-19 pandemic with millions of Americans fighting for their right to not wear masks I’m not so sure.
