Washington DC – Citing the 1919 Treaty of Versailles as “the worst deal in history” President Trump withdrew the US from the agreement that ended the World War One. With no legal agreement in place, many countries are not sure if they are in a state of war against the United States of America.

President Trump cited many reasons why the Treaty of Versailles is bad for the US:

  • “Look at what they did to Russia. The Allies allowed parts of Russia to get carved up into Poland, Latveria, and Freedonia.”
  • “America did all the fighting, and we still didn’t get Canada as a prize.”
  • “President Wilson’s 14 Points were horrible. What’s the use of Belgium? It’s not a real country, folks.”

The United States leaving the international treaty is scaring and confusing many countries. Germany is at the top of the list. German Prime Minister Angela Merkel released this statement:

Germany surrendered unconditionally in 1919. Unconditionally. Now we’re being told a little under 100 years later that wasn’t good enough? What does he want us to do? One hundred pushups? Because we’ll do it.

The Austro-Hungarian Empire no longer exists. The Empire was dissolved at the end of World War One. However, many Central European countries that once made it up wonder if they are now locked in a military conflict with the United States. The Czech Republic isn’t taking any chances, and is ordering its tiny army to prepare for the worst. “I don’t know the future, but I know one thing. We’re not giving up the Sudentland to Halliburton under any circumstances,” stated Czech Prime Minister Andrew Kanard.

Supreme Court wannabe Bret Kavanaugh refuses to directly answer any questions concerning the legality of President Trump breaking the treaty. He did say this: “Sure, it’s settled law. But ‘settled law’ is what people say when they’re getting ready to undermine democracy.”

In related news, Canada is petitioning the UN to move to Australia.
