NATO Refuses To Defend US Red States

Article 5 of the NATO charter states an attack against one member of the North Atlantic  Treaty Organization is an attack on them all. However, with President Trump berating members of NATO its members issued a statement saying they will not come to the defense of those US states who voted for Trump in 2016. This may not have any real world consequences. However, in case of a Red Dawn style attack on Texas by the North Koreans, then the Lone Star State will not have the help of America’s allies.
