United Airlines (UA) revoked Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) membership in its Global Services program. Global Services is similar to other airlines’ status programs that provide special services to VIPs and frequent fliers. UA officially stated Ms. Greene’s recent posting of an anti-transgender sign outside of her office goes against its core values.

Illinois Rep. Marie Newman has an office across from Greene’s. Representative Newman has a transgendered child. Newman supports the Equality Act which would ban discrimination against LGBTQ Americans. Representative Newman has a blue and pink transgender pride flag outside of her office.
All of this was just too much for Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene who has made her career by being a QAnon supporter who craves the support of evangelical Christians. She also stated California wildfires were caused by Jewish space lasers.
She placed a sign outside her office that states “There are TWO genders: MALE & Female… Trust the Science!”
“Our neighbor, @RepMarieNewman, wants to pass the so-called ‘Equality’ Act to destroy women’s rights and religious freedoms. Thought we’d put up ours so she can look at it every time she opens her door,” Greene captioned the tweet with winking and American flag emojis.
Newman told CNN Thursday the back-and-forth with Greene was never meant to be a fight and that she is unconcerned with Greene’s reaction to her flag.
United Airlines Strips Greene’s Status
The United Airlines mission statement includes a dedication to create an inclusive work environment, characterized by dignity and respect, that empowers every employee to serve the global marketplace and contribute to our success. UA strives to meet goals such as improving lives and providing an inclusive work environment.
UA spokesperson Andrew Canard reassured domestic and international customers that United Airlines refuses to support bigotry of any kind. “Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene supports the worst aspects of the American psyche. We are United. We are not a divisive company. Her morals are not our morals. Thus, UA is revoking her membership in our Global Services program,” he said.
Starting today Rep Greene will no longer enjoy transport between connecting flights at airports in stylish Mercedes vehicles. She will no longer have the privilege of skipping the TSA line and no longer get free booze on flights. And perhaps worst of all the secret lounge open only to those who have status will be forever barred to her.
Greene has yet to respond. Experts believe she will cry and complain about being canceled while she is trying to cancel the rights of millions of LGBTQ Americans.
