Do you know how many atheists blog are on Patheos? I’ve lost count. There are a bunch of us. And a while back, we had an idea to put together a collection of articles and essays to give you a sense of who we are and what we’re interested in.
I wrote a piece about why we don’t see more open atheists in Congress. Andrew Spitznas wrote about “Not Seeing God at the Movies.” Luciano Gonzalez wrote about “The Importance of Visibility when Not Seeing God in Latin America.” Dr. Jeana Jorgensen wrote about folklore in the Bible.
You get the idea. Lots of different perspectives on atheism that go beyond the God question.
With the help of Jonathan MS Pearce, who edited everything and turned it into something real, we’re excited to announce the publication of Not Seeing God: Atheism in the 21st Century.

It’s only available in paperback for now, but the ebook should be ready before Christmas. So pick up a copy. Gift it to someone you love (or hate, I suppose). Leave some kind words for a review. And learn something new!
