In his latest video picking apart the messages coming out of this summer’s Jehovah’s Witnesses regional conferences, Lloyd Evans explains and analyzes the “bunker videos.” (There’s a corresponding article right here written by Covert Fade, the pen name for an undercover JW.)

What is this theme all about?

The films are centred around a small group of Witnesses huddled in a basement converted into a makeshift bunker, during the period of worldwide turmoil that Watchtower teaches will take place just before the battle of Armageddon, known as the Great Tribulation.

There are eight short films in the series, each of which explores “sins” like not accepting criticism well, watching something porn-like on your phone, and dealing with depression.

This is part 2 of 6 of Evans’ recaps of these conference videos. Part 1, about shunning a family member who dared to think for herself, is right here.

Realize that this is how JWs are being brainwashed across the country. You’re watching it in real time.
