I can’t believe this needs to be said, but grocery stores — and liquor stores and dispensaries — are indeed “essential” during the pandemic. There are reasons they should remain open (even if going into them is still risky).
Churches, on the other hand, are not essential. You don’t have to physically meet in order to worship. Anyone who says in-person church services should be allowed since grocery stores let even more people inside hasn’t done a damn bit of research.
