Good luck rebutting this Christmas miracle, atheists.
A Facebook post making the rounds on Reddit last night showed a man praising God for his church’s bus turning on in the cold weather. Because that’s the sort of magic only God could do…

Our little Christmas miracle! Yesterday after church our young adults event was hoping on this beauty and driving her around the city checking out the Christmas decked out houses! Unfortunately, due to the fridged [sic] temperatures, it wouldn’t start up. So it was decided we would cancel that idea, and do something else. A couple of us young adults and one of our pastors were determined to go the bus, lay hands on it, and command it to start up in Jesus name! As soon as we finished praying for the bus, our pastor stuck the key in the ignition, and the bus started up with no problem!
God is literally so big that he cares about our small needs. Even when we have back up plans and can settle for good, he wants us to have the best! If your car doesn’t start up this winter, don’t run for help. Just put your faith into action 🙂
There you have it: The bus started because they prayed over it. God proved His existence by making everyone think the bus was dead, then bringing it back to life. Just like Jesus.
I think what bothers me is that no rational possibility is even considered. They prayed, then the bus started, so the two things must be connected! Who needs jumper cables?!
I assume the people at this church will use the bus to go around, find other drivers whose cars have broken down, call AAA to tell them their services won’t be needed, and heal all the vehicles?
Anything less would make the Baby Jesus cry.
