Former Rep. Michele Bachmann hasn’t gotten any more sensible since leaving office.
Speaking last week on the radio show “Understanding the Times with Jan Markell,” which does nothing to advance our understanding of the times, Bachmann explained how liberals are making it easier for the Antichrist to gain power.
Bachmann said that Donald Trump’s opponents, much like the people who built the Tower of Babel, are rebelling against God to bring about “the creation of a manmade, one-world system. And scripture tells us that in the End Times, that is what Antichrist will be, he will be a part of a one-world system.”
“There are people who reject Judeo-Christian truth and instead want to insert and usurp control of all of our lives with a global, economic and political government,” she said.
So… I guess we should do the Christian thing and reject refugees who need our help and tell poor people they’re on their own when it comes to health care?
It’s like when Jesus said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. And that’s why the Antichrist is taking over, you damn fool.”
