The good news is that a powerful voice says we don’t have to worry about Donald Trump waging a nuclear war against Kim Jong-Un, despite their battle over who has the largest (non-existent) button.
The bad news is that the prediction comes from Pat Robertson, whose only support is that God has other items on his to-do list before He allows us all to die.
Robertson made the comments yesterday around the 3:40 mark during an episode of The 700 Club.

I hate to differ with the distinguished former chairman of the Joint Chiefs, but I don’t think we’re gonna have a nuclear war. I don’t think that God Almighty is gonna allow that to happen to this world. I think there are too many other important things to be done, uh, spiritually, and I just don’t think that’s in the Lord’s plan for this world. But if He has to take out Kim Jong-Un in order to accomplish that, that’s what’ll happen. But I just don’t think we’re going to have a nuclear war.
That’s… comforting.
As anyone who supported Hillary Clinton in 2016 will tell you, things don’t always work out as you’d expect. Robertson doesn’t know what God wants, just as he doesn’t know what Trump will do.
And remember that another Trump acolyte, Pastor Robert Jeffress, said last August” that “God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong-un.”
So Trump could wage nuclear war against the North Korean dictator… but only after He runs some errands first? Great. Let’s hope the Holy Dry Cleaning gets delayed a bit.
With Trump and the rest of his incompetent inner circle in the White House, relying on God to save us all is hardly a reassuring thought. We need thoughtful, educated people in the White House working to avert a first strike. Instead, we just have people who praise Trump when the cameras are on, and who have no clue how to tell him he’s an idiot to his face. They’re not the people who will save us. All they do is make everything worse.
