Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised by her invitation. Getting gullible people to give you everything they have in exchange for your promises of false hope is precisely what Trump is known for.
By the way, you might be familiar with “Red Letter Christians,” the ones who prioritize the words of Jesus (which are in red letters in certain versions of the Bible) over everything else. This cartoon suggests that we ought to have a name for Christians who just cross out the words they don’t like.
