Just a short one here to nick a line from a facebook meme…:

Isn’t it ironic that the ones who believe in demon possession seem to be the only ones who get demon possessed?

I like that, and it reminds me very much of how people who have visions only ever seem to have visions of deities in which they already believe; and if they don’t already believe, then the deity is dominant in the culture in which they live.

Likewise, medical miracles only happen with people who have reversible or curable ailments.

It’s all so CONVENIENT! Like, perhaps, these things weren’t, you know, really happening.
