Yesterday, I spoke about how Trump believed the nonsense he has been spouting, conspiracy theories and all. Today, I am going to share with you an interesting legal analysis from a YouTube legal expert I often watch. It makes for fascinating viewing.
Aside from this, there are two points about the phone call that are worthy of dwelling on. Firstly, the length of the call. If I spend an hour of my day calling someone, my partner wants to know why I haven’t done X, Y or Z. That’s a long time for the person who should, in some senses, be one of the busiest people in the world. And as Raffensberger admitted, he wasn’t even sure why the POTUS phoned anyway, what the ultimate point was. We know that he is playing an inordinate amount of golf. I mean, he’s been AWOL since the election in what can only be described as a dereliction of duty and it seems like he just sits around trolling people by phone and Twitter.
The second thing to mention is the bizarre talk of the lawyer’s surname – Germany.
“I’m sure you’re a good lawyer. You have a nice last name…”
