John Loftus and the Whole Kit and Caboodle

Reading Time: 4 minutes I have to thank John Loftus (author, ex-minister and owner of the great Debunking Christianity blog) for giving me a leg up in the blogging world when, running a tiny independent version of the A Tippling Philosopher blog as I was, he allowed me to write for him there. From there, I was offered to help found the Skeptic Ink […]

William Lane Craig Misrepresents and Strawmans CA on His Podcast, Denying Science

Reading Time: 2 minutes William Lane Craig and his obsequious co-host recently slammed Counter-Apologist and his criticisms of Craig’s use of time and the Kalam, in his recent podcast. Craig takes chap potshots at CA and is pretty disingenuous. I have red a transcript of CA’s upcoming reply, and he is spot on.

Check this video out as it will give you some background.

Loftus has written some cracking books

Reading Time: 7 minutes It’s no secret that I am a big fan of John Loftus’ books. He has written some corkers. In fact, his class Why I Became an Atheist (or WIBA) is exactly that, a classic. Let me go through them one by one.

Here is the book description from the back cover:

Apologist Knechtle owned in debate with Beahan

Reading Time: < 1 minute SO this is a few years old now, but this debate is great. Jeremy Beahan, presenter on Reasonable Doubts podcast and radio show, calmly deconstructs every argument this rather smarmy apologist gives. I enjoyed listening to this one, and I hope to hear Beahan do more debates. Good stuff.

Interview with skydivephil, creator of superb videos

Reading Time: 8 minutes Many of you will have come across the superb videos of skydivephil on You Tube and embedded across various forums. That is, unless you have had your heads buried in the sand. I first came across them when they critiqued william Lane Craig on the Kalam Cosmological Argument as can be seen here:
