Pandemic Prescience

Reading Time: 2 minutes It’s been a busy (partner’s) birthday weekend, so sorry that I have not been around much, and this week is shaping up to be equally busy, so apologies in advance… I have recently released the second in my pandemic horror (with healthy dollops of philosophy) series: Survival of the Fittest: Adaptation [UK]. The first installment was called […]

Great Early Reviews in! “Fulfilling” and “great” Interview!

Reading Time: 4 minutes The recent release of my first fiction book (Survival of the fittest: Metamorphosis) has made me really proud. Transferring nonfiction skills to the world of fiction is tough. Reading Time: 2 minutes I am plugging my first fiction book, as you may have noticed. I would really appreciate any support in this venture into a philosophy / fiction crossover. It is called Survival of the Fittest: Metamorphosis. The […]

Religion and Morality

Reading Time: 4 minutes This is the second of a series of fictional dialogues between my friend Al, who is a devout Christian, and me. The first one is called “A Question of Faith.” We were starting our second beer, which is usually when the serious discussions begin. The first beer covers family news, how the Dodgers, Lakers, UCLA, USC […]

My zombie book – the progress

Reading Time: 6 minutes I wrote a post some time back which detailed my plans on writing a zombie fiction book which should hopefully include a good deal of philosophy. Well, here is a rough prologue to the book (called Survival of the Fittest – Metamorphosis) which I posted some time ago. I am now 70,000 words through the project, which will likely finish between 90,000 and 100,000 words.
