Christian Evangelist Joshua Feuerstein Put Subliminal Dollar Bill Images in His Latest Video

Reading Time: < 1 minute Well, this is a new tactic for Christian vertical video addict (and Starbucks red cup destroyer) Joshua Feuerstein: It looks like he’s sticking subliminal advertising into his latest videos.

In a “Facebook church” video posted online Sunday (and then removed Monday) by Feuerstein, he gave a long loud rant about Jesus before introducing a group of musicians and singers. But if you look carefully in the clip below, which was snagged before Feuerstein took down his video, you see an interesting thing happen every minute, on the dot, beginning at the 0:23 mark:

A dollar bill flashes on the screen.

Mike Huckabee Gets Endorsement from Christian Who Began Starbucks Red Cup Conspiracy Theory

Reading Time: 2 minutes Yesterday, Mike Huckabee released a list of “Conservative Christian and family values leaders” who are endorsing him for President.

There’s a strategic aspect to this I just don’t get. Endorsements are supposed to help you persuade people who are on the fence. If these people like me, you will too!

Conservative Christians supporting Huckabee is supposed to sway who, exactly?

The list includes the usual collection of right-wingers familiar to readers of this site for all the wrong reasons: The anti-gay author of the Left Behind series, an anti-gay pastor who was instrumental in defeating Proposition 8 in California, an anti-gay group leader who made a video saying gays are setting America on fire, etc.

Oh. And this guy:

Joshua Feuerstein Blames California Shootings on Lack of Forced Prayer in Public Schools

Reading Time: 3 minutes I know, I know. You’re sick of Joshua Feuerstein. But as long as tens of thousands of Christians keep “liking” his rants on Facebook, there’s reason to push back against his bullshit.

In his latest ignorant diatribe, responding to the New York Daily Newsfront page reading “God Isn’t Fixing This,” Feuerstein imagines a time when God was forced upon everybody and things were just perfect:

Joshua Feuerstein Tries and Fails to Rationalize His Video Calling for Attacks on Planned Parenthood

Reading Time: 4 minutes The other day, I posted a video clip in which Christian evangelist
Joshua Feuerstein told his followers to go after doctors who provide abortion services.

This wasn’t metaphorical, either. He said very clearly in the clip: “I say, tonight, we punish Planned Parenthood. I think it’s time that abortion doctors should have to run and hide and be afraid for their life.”

Joshua Feuerstein: Let’s Punish Planned Parenthood; Abortion Doctors Must “Be Afraid for Their Life”

Reading Time: 2 minutes It was only a matter of time before a video like this came to light.

Joshua Feuerstein, who gained notoriety this month for complaining about Starbucks’ red cups, apparently once encouraged his followers to go after doctors who provide abortion services.

To be clear, this video was made long before this weekend. It appears to have been posted about two weeks after the first anti-Planned Parenthood video came out this summer. Still, what Feuerstein says is appalling and it’s nowhere to be found on his own social media accounts as far as I can tell. (It wouldn’t be the first time he’s deleted a video that spurred backlash from even his own followers.)

Christian Group Unveils 2015 “Naughty-or-Nice” List, Because Some Companies Hate Christmas

Reading Time: < 1 minute The American Family Association has released its annual “Naughty or Nice” list, sorting out which national chains celebrate Christmas and which ones don’t deserve your business because they ruin everything by acknowledging the existence of other human beings.

While most of it is just a holdover from last year, a few interesting things pop out:
