Reading Time: < 1 minute

Right-wing pastor Perry Stone, best known for checking his phone while speaking on tongues and who recently blamed the COVID-19 pandemic on abortion and LGBTQ rights, recently delivered part of a sermon in four separate languages.

It’s an impressive feat considering I’m almost positive he only speaks one language.

During a livestream yesterday, Stone spoke in Christian Parseltongue for two straight minutes before explaining to the audience what just happened.

Now the spirit of God is praying in four languages right now. The language of nations that need prayer. Let’s lift our voice right now. There’s four nations that need prayer. One of those is Asia, somewhere. One of those is Middle Eastern. One of those is either Brazil or Hispanic.

All right, let’s pray out loud. Come on. I want to hear some voices lift up.

Those of you at home, that prayer was not for you to understand, because your understanding is not fruitful when you pray in tongues, the Bible says, but the Spirit prayed a prayer that some people in different languages understood. They understood.

Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus right now that the spirit of God is certainly working…

He just magically spoke four languages. Including an Asian one. Somewhere. Don’t bother looking for confirmation, though, because even though there are numerous Asian and Middle Eastern languages, gibberish isn’t one of them.

It’s amazing how many lies you can get away with when it’s in the name of Jesus.
